The Role:

  • This is a Director of Sales role based in the US

  • You can be based anywhere remotely in the US but ideally in the Bay Area or New York

  • This role is the first person on the ground and will be a quota carrying position with some management responsibility of a team.

  • 60% closing and 40% management, ops and process implementation roughly

  • You will target mid-market and startups from $10m-$30m in revenue

  • Average order values are around $30k-$50k with sales cycles in the region of 30-60 days

  • You will help build out the sales playbook and process for the US and global sales team with a focus on helping build their outbound function. The majority is inbound at the moment.

The Company:

  • SaaS startup in the SalesTech space that are VC funded having received around $5million in funding

  • It’s likely they will have a another round of funding this year

  • Equity is involved for the right person

  • They are creating a category which is a relatively new space for them

  • Named a Leader in the space by leading review platforms

  • This is a first person on the ground role so will grow into managing the sales team in the US and globally if successful. Essentially this will become the VP Sales

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years B2B SaaS sales experience to the Midmarket

  • Ideally MarTech/SalesTech.

  • 2-3 years management/leadership experience

  • You should be quota carrying
