The Role:
This is a 100% net new business role so you must be a hunter by nature
There will be the possibility to expand in the accounts you close
You should expect to do full cycle sales and although they have some inbound you will need to create your own opportunities
This is a complex sales process and so you will be dealing with multiple stakeholders
Sales cycles can be 6 months+ and average deals sizes can go to $100k+
You will be based in New York ideally but the North East US is also a possibility as you can be remote
The Company:
They are an exciting SaaS start up who are an emerging category in the IoT space. This is an industry that has been undisrupted for a while but is crying out for it.
They are Series A funded having received over $5 million to expand operations in the US having proven success in EMEA
Having grown continually in 2020 they plan to grow 3x in 2021
You will be one of the first in the US team in a market that is greenfield for them
The Ideal Candidate:
You should have Enterprise SaaS sales experience – 6 month cycles and $100k plus AOV
This person will need experience at a start up – ideally in a company going from $0-$10m or $50m as this is the journey they plan to go to pretty quickly
You should have sold a complex product to multiple stakeholders in the same process
The right person will have a strong proven track record in Enterprise SaaS Sales
