This fast-growing security startup is looking for a Sales Manager to attack the SMB market. As one of the fastest-growing startups in Canada, this security vendor is looking for someone to grow and take on a more senior role as the company develops.
This is a Sales Manager role, focused on the SMB Market.
As Sales Development Manager - you will be responsible for managing and leading a current team of 15 – this is a mixture of Business development Agents (non-closing sales role), and Business Development Reps (closing).
Some of your team will focus on outbound leads and generating brand new opportunities and will book meetings and Demos for the senior members of staff. The other half will manage the full sales cycle.
You will be selling predominantly into the security vertical.
This client works on an MRR model, deal sizes are generally around $500/$600pm MRR.
Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in a high-volume, outbound sales environment. You do not need to have closed deals, but an understanding of the mechanics of business development and lead generation is essential.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have had prior experience selling SaaS or other B2B technology.
You will be based from their Montreal, Canada HQ.
